The position is responsible for monitoring capacity utilization, managing slot availability, negotiating slot rates, and ensuring accurate cost and schedule updates. The role supports operational efficiency by coordinating closely with transshipment, inventory, and vendor teams to optimize space allocation and cost performance across all locations.nnJOB RESPONSIBILITIES:nno Monitor DF Utilization: nContinuously track and analyse DF (Dead Freight) utilization to ensure each location optimizes and achieves its allocated capacity.nno Open Slot Availability: nIdentify and evaluate open slot availability in the market to support operational requirements and cost optimization.nno Slot Negotiation: nEngage with vessel operators to negotiate competitive slot rates and secure cost-effective agreements.nno Schedule u0026 SOC Matrix Management:
nEnsure timely updates of the SOC Matrix and vessel schedules to maintain accurate operational planning.nno Cost Matrix Review u0026 Vendor Relationship: nReview and validate cost matrices regularly and ensure timely uploading for internal reference and billing accuracy.nnEnsure direct contract with vendor wherever applicable.nno Invoice Verification: nVerify and approve all slot-related invoices prior to submission to Accounts for payment processing.nno Coordination with T/S Management Team: nCollaborate closely with the Transshipment (T/S) Management team to ensure optimal utilization of allocated space.nno Inventory Coordination: nWork with the Inventory team to support container supply planning and repositioning between surplus and deficit locations.nnWork Location: In person .
