Job Description Community Manager N Pune · Full-time · Reports to Content & Social Lead N ₹8–14 L annual CTC N n About the role N nWES by SheWork. In is India's fastest-scaling diversity-in-tech events and community platform — a 300K+ community moving from a national LinkedIn Live series into four live city editions (Pune, Bangalore, Delhi NCR, Hyderabad) and a flagship Annual Conclave. That 300K+ community is our single biggest asset — and as we build out our media unit, we're hiring a Community Manager to activate it, turning members into webinar viewers and event delegates. NThis is the role for someone who sees community as a calling, not a job title. You'll be the daily face and voice of WES to our members — building belonging, sparking conversation, and turning a large audience into an engaged movement that shows up, online and in the room. A 300K community is only as strong as the person who shows up for it every day. N n What you'll own Nn Day-to-day engagement — Own daily engagement across the WES community and all channels — sparking conversation, responding to members, and keeping the community alive and warm. N Audience-to-attendee conversion — Drive webinar registrations and city-edition delegate sign-ups directly from the community — turning followers into viewers and viewers into delegates. N Member programming — Run member programming, spotlights, and recognition initiatives — including the Hall of Fame narrative — that celebrate our community and keep members coming back. N Community voice — Be the authentic, on-brand voice of WES in every interaction, building genuine relationships at scale. N Insight loop — Gather community insight — what members care about, struggle with,
and want more of — and feed it into programming and content so WES stays relevant. N Growth & retention — Grow the community thoughtfully while deepening engagement with existing members, so reach and loyalty grow together. N Advocacy — Identify and nurture community champions and ambassadors who amplify WES organically. Nn n What we're looking for Nn 3–5 years in community management or social engagement — you've built and nurtured an online community before. N A genuine commitment to diversity, equity & inclusion in tech — this isn't a role you can fake caring about, and our best community work comes from people who mean it. N You turn an audience into attendees — you know how to convert passive followers into active participants and paying delegates. N Warm, authentic communication — you build trust and belonging in every interaction. N Strong instincts for engagement — you know what sparks conversation and what falls flat. N A self-starter mindset — comfortable owning the community day to day and building programming from scratch. Nn n Skills thatset you apart Nn Community management and online engagement N Audience activation andconversion (followers → viewers → delegates) N Member programming, spotlights, and recognition initiatives N Authentic, on-brand community communication N Gathering and acting oncommunity insight N Working closely with content and programming teams N A genuine, visible commitment to diversity & inclusion in tech Nn n Why join us Nn Activate a 300K+ community — turn one of India's largest diversity-in-tech audiences into a real movement. N Mission with meaning — every interaction supports and advances inclusion in tech across the country. N Ground-floor ownership — help build the community function of a quick-scaling media unit, and grow as WES scales. Nn
