Job Title: VTL Operator (Lathe)

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented VTL operator to join our team. As a VTL operator, you will be responsible for operating VTL to produce precision components according to specifications. Your expertise in lathe machining, programming, and quality control will contribute to our manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities:

· Set up VTL machines by loading materials, tools, and fixtures.

· Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD models to determine machining requirements.

· Program machine controls using G-code or other programming languages.

· Monitor machine performance and make adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency.

· Perform precision machining operations, such as turning, facing, threading, and grooving.





· Conduct quality inspections using measuring instruments to ensure parts meet specifications.

· Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to machine performance or program execution.

· Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and meet deadlines.

· Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.

Job Requirements:

· Proven experience as a VTL Operator for a minimum of 5 years.

· Proficiency in setting up, operating, and programming VTL machines.

· Strong understanding of lathe machining principles, tooling, and materials.

· Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD models.

· Experience with G-code programming or other CNC programming languages.

· Skilled in using precision measuring instruments to ensure part accuracy.

· Attention to detail and ability to work with tight tolerances.

· Solid problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

· Knowledge of safety protocols and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.

· Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
