Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and motivated GIS Team Leader to lead our GIS mapping team. The ideal candidate will manage daily operations, ensure high-quality project delivery, guide team members, and coordinate with clients to meet project deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and supervise the GIS team on daily tasks and project execution.
- Assign work, monitor progress, and ensure timely project completion.
- Review GIS data for quality, accuracy, and compliance with project standards.
- Perform QA/QC of maps, spatial databases, and GIS deliverables.
- Coordinate with clients and project managers to understand project requirements.
- Train, mentor, and support GIS Engineers and new team members.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly project status reports.
- Resolve technical issues related to GIS software and workflows.
- Ensure proper documentation and data management.
- Maintain productivity, quality standards, and team performance.

Required Skills

- Robust knowledge of ArcGIS, QGIS,



AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office.
- Experience in GIS mapping, spatial data analysis, and database management.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of QA/QC procedures and GIS standards.

Qualifications

- 3–5+ years of experience in GIS, with at least 1–2 years in a leadership role.

Preferred Experience

- Telecom GIS, Utility Mapping, Cadastral Mapping, or LIDAR projects.
- Experience with project planning, reporting, and client coordination.
