Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

* Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons aligned with the CBSE curriculum and international teaching practices.

* Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.

* Prepare lesson plans, teaching aids, worksheets, assessments, and learning resources.

* Monitor, assess, and maintain student progress records and portfolios.

* Foster students’ academic, social, emotional, and behavioural development.

* Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress and well-being.

* Integrate technology, activity-based learning, and experiential teaching methodologies into the classroom.

* Participate in school events, parent-teacher meetings, training sessions, and professional development programmes.

* Collaborate with coordinators and colleagues to ensure effective curriculum implementation.

* Maintain discipline while encouraging creativity, critical thinking, and independent learning.





Additional Responsibilities – Primary Science Coordinator

* Lead and coordinate the Primary Science curriculum across grades.

* Mentor Science teachers through classroom observations and feedback.

* Develop yearly planners, assessments, and curriculum resources.

* Organize Science exhibitions, STEM activities, experiments, and hands-on learning programmes.

* Analyse academic performance and implement improvement strategies.

* Conduct teacher training sessions and ensure quality curriculum delivery.

Qualifications

* Pre-Primary Teacher: Bachelor’s Degree with NTT/Montessori/ECCEd/D.El.Ed. or equivalent.

* Grade 1 & Grade 2 HRT: Bachelor’s Degree with B.Ed. (Mandatory).

* Primary Science Coordinator: Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Science with B.Ed. (Mandatory).

Experience

* Relevant teaching experience in a CBSE or International School is preferred.

* For the Science Coordinator role, 3–5 years of relevant teaching experience with leadership exposure is preferred.

* Freshers with excellent communication skills and teaching aptitude may apply for teaching positions.

* Strong classroom management abilities.

* Child-centric and activity-based teaching approach.

* Curriculum planning and assessment skills.

* Leadership and mentoring abilities (for Coordinator role).

* Proficiency in digital teaching tools and MS Office/Google Workspace.
