PRT English Teacher – Roles & Responsibilities (Classes I to V)

- Teach English to students from Classes I to V in accordance with the CBSE curriculum and school guidelines.
- Develop students' foundational skills in reading, writing, speaking, listening, phonics, grammar, vocabulary, and comprehension.
- Prepare annual, monthly, weekly, and daily lesson plans before conducting classes.
- Use activity-based, child-centric, and interactive teaching methods to make learning enjoyable.
- Conduct storytelling, role plays, rhymes, language games, and other creative activities to enhance language development.
- Ensure timely completion of the syllabus as per the academic calendar.
- Prepare worksheets, assignments, classwork, homework, and periodic assessments.
- Evaluate students' work regularly and maintain accurate assessment records.
- Identify slow learners and provide remedial support to improve their language skills.
- Encourage students to develop reading habits through library periods and classroom reading activities.
- Maintain classroom discipline and create a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment.
- Record student attendance, academic progress, and observations on a regular basis.
- Communicate students' progress, behaviour, and learning needs to parents during PTMs and through regular updates.
- Maintain attractive classroom displays, English corners,



and educational teaching aids.
- Use smart boards, digital content, and other teaching-learning resources effectively.
- Participate actively in assemblies, competitions, celebrations, school events, and training programmes.
- Perform class teacher responsibilities, including maintaining student records, diaries, and classroom management, when assigned.
- Support school admission activities, orientations, and promotional programmes whenever required.
- Follow all school rules related to punctuality, discipline, dress code, and skilled conduct.
- Carry out any other academic or administrative responsibilities assigned by the Principal or Management.

- Improvement in students' reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension skills.
- Timely submission of lesson plans, worksheets, and assessment records.

- Achievement of admission support targets assigned by the management (where applicable).

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
