- Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of injection moulds.
- Disassemble, inspect, clean, repair, and reassemble moulds.
- Identify wear, damage, and defects in mould components.
- Replace worn or damaged components such as ejector pins, springs, inserts, and guide pillars.
- Polish mould cavities and cores to maintain surface finish.
- Troubleshoot mould-related production issues and recommend corrective actions.
- Ensure moulds are production-ready before installation.
- Maintain maintenance records, checklists, and service history.
- Coordinate with Production, Quality, and Tool Room teams to reduce downtime.
- Follow 5S, safety, and quality procedures in the work area.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance mould performance and reliability.
Required Qualifications :
- Diploma or ITI in Tool & Die Making, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in injection mould maintenance (experience requirement may vary based on role level).
- Knowledge of plastic injection mould construction and maintenance.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and use precision measuring instruments.
