Role: Accountant – Tally Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Tally ERP expert with 2-3 years of experience to manage and finalize books of accounts, review entries, and handle end-to-end client coordination. The ideal candidate must be detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of independently owning accounts while escalating discrepancies to senior management or the CA.

Key Responsibilities

- End-to-end accounting in Tally ERP (manual + voucher-based entries)
- Finalization of accounts: journal entries, ledger scrutiny, P&L;, balance sheet, cash flow
- Review and correction of junior accountants’ entries in Tally
- Daily/weekly reconciliations: bank, cash, vendor, client accounts
- Ensure accuracy of invoices, purchase orders, payment entries, and credit/debit notes
- Detect and flag discrepancies to the CA or audit team for timely resolution
- Communicate with clients and their internal accountants to collect data and ensure bookkeeping completion
- Generate monthly MIS reports and assist in audit readiness
- Maintain data backups and version control in Tally
- Coordinate with GST, TDS, and compliance teams for tax filings

Required Qualifications & Skills





- B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter / MBA (Finance)
- 2-3 years of hands-on accounting experience using Tally ERP (any industry or company type)
- In-depth understanding of Indian accounting standards
- MIS
- Strong grasp of double-entry bookkeeping, GST, TDS, and basic tax compliance
- Proficiency in Tally ERP 9 / Tally Prime, MS Excel, and working with audit trails
- Familiar with GST Portal, TDS returns, and reconciliation formats
- Strong leadership and mentoring ability
- Fluent in English and Tamil (for client coordination and field support)
- Ability to work independently with accountability and ownership

Preferred (Not Mandatory)

- Prior experience in an auditing or compliance firm
- Exposure to Zoho Books, QuickBooks, or other cloud platforms
- Basic understanding of company law, ROC filings, or audit processes
- Experience working directly with Chartered Accountants or Tax Consultants
