What you will do:

1. Develop and maintain AL extensions for Business Central: custom pages, reports, tables, codeunits, and event subscribers

2. Investigate and fix functional defects in areas like pricing, cash discounts, and posting routines — including root-cause analysis, not just patches

3. Build and maintain operational and audit reports (RDLC/Word layouts, Excel-based reports, and APIs feeding Power BI)

4. Design and enforce user permissions and access controls across roles, locations, and sensitive fields

5. Own integrations with external systems: e-invoicing and e-way bill (GST compliance), banking, and future e-commerce/quick-commerce connections for our retail brand

6. Manage the development lifecycle: sandbox testing,



version control, deployment of per-tenant extensions, and upgrade readiness for BC release waves

7. Work with our implementation partner on larger projects — reviewing their code, estimates, and change requests

8. Document customizations and train key users on current functionality

What we are looking for:

Must have:

1. 3+ years developing on Business Central (AL) or Dynamics NAV (C/AL) with a clear track record of shipped customizations

2. Strong AL skills: table and page extensions, report development, event-driven design, API pages/OData

3. Experience with VS Code, Git, and per-tenant extension deployment on BC SaaS or on-prem

4. Working knowledge of BC functional areas: inventory, sales and purchase documents, pricing and discounts, warehouse, and finance posting

5. Understanding of Indian localization requirements: GST, TDS/TCS, e-invoicing, e-way bill

6. Ability to talk to non-technical users, understand a business problem, and translate it into a technical solution

Good to have:

Manufacturing or FMCG/distribution industry experience

Power Platform experience (Power BI, Power Automate)

SQL skills for data analysis and migration work

Experience working alongside or auditing an implementation partner

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
