EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

5+ years Cerner CCL production scripting and interface support

ROLE SUMMARY

The largest offshore footprint in the staffing model (3 FTE continuous Y1-Y5). The role provides 24/7 interface monitoring with IST prime coverage and executes Cerner CCL (Cerner Command Language) scripting, DiscernExpert authoring, and HL7 v2.x troubleshooting. Staggered IST shifts keep eyes on the interface engines around the clock.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Author and maintain Cerner CCL scripts for custom integration logic and DiscernExpert reports.

- Author DCP (DiscernExpert Component Program) components.

- Troubleshoot HL7 v2.x interface errors across ADT, ORM, ORU, MDM.

- Execute interface error triage and corrective resends.

- Contribute to knowledge management: integration run books, recurring interface incident playbooks.

REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS

Cerner CCL (required, mastery)

HL7 v2.x Triage (required)

HL7 v2.x troubleshooting across ADT, ORM, ORU, MDM. Message constructor and parser library familiarity.



Ack/nack troubleshooting.

Cerner FSI Basics (required)

Cerner FSI message routing and basic configuration. Inbound and outbound channel monitoring.

Discern Explorer (required)

Discern Explorer report development for integration audits and incident diagnostics.

ServiceNow (required)

ServiceNow ticket queue management. Severity routing for interface events.

FHIR R4 (preferred)

X12 EDI (preferred)

REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS

- Cerner CCL training certification OR 3+ years CCL production work (mandatory)

- Cerner Millennium Foundations (mandatory)

- HL7 v2.x familiarity from formal training (mandatory)

- ITIL 4 Foundation (mandatory)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Cerner Discern Explorer certification

- HL7 v2.x certification

- FHIR R4 Proficiency
