We are seeking a motivated and reliable News Reporter to gather, investigate, and report accurate, timely, and engaging news stories. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, strong news judgment, and the ability to work under tight deadlines while maintaining high journalistic standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Research, investigate, and verify news stories from credible sources.
- Cover breaking news, local events, government activities, crime, politics, education, sports, and community issues.
- Conduct interviews with public officials, experts, and eyewitnesses.
- Write clear, accurate, and engaging news articles and scripts.
- Capture photos and videos from the field when required.
- Deliver live reports for television or digital platforms.
- Collaborate with editors, producers, photographers, and the newsroom team.
- Ensure all reporting follows legal, ethical, and editorial guidelines.
- Maintain relationships with sources and build a strong local news network.




- Meet daily deadlines and contribute story ideas.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, or a related field (preferred).
- 1–3 years of reporting experience (freshers with solid journalism skills may also apply).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of digital media, social media, and mobile journalism tools.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Willingness to travel for news coverage.
