We are looking for a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our manufacturing unit in Cherlapalli. The ideal candidate will support the accounts team with day-to-day data entry, record-keeping, and basic bookkeeping tasks, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in all financial transactions.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform accurate and timely data entry of daily financial transactions, invoices, and receipts
- Maintain and update ledgers, cash books, and other accounting records
- Process purchase and sales entries, including GST/tax-related data where applicable
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
- Support bank reconciliation and petty cash management
- Help prepare debtor/creditor statements and basic MIS reports
- Assist senior accountants during month-end closing and audits
- Ensure proper filing and documentation of financial records
- Maintain confidentiality of company financial data
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or related field (B.Com preferred)
- 0-2 years of experience in accounting or data entry (freshers may apply)
- Working knowledge of Tally, MS Excel, and basic accounting software
- Valuable numerical accuracy and attention to detail
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and GST
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Willingness to work at a manufacturing factory location in Cherlapalli
