Key Responsibilities :

- Plan and supervise all production activities during the assigned shift.
- Ensure production targets are achieved according to the daily production plan.
- Monitor machine performance, cycle time, Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), and productivity.
- Coordinate mould changes, machine startups, and process validation.
- Troubleshoot moulding process issues and minimize production downtime.
- Ensure products meet quality standards and customer specifications.
- Coordinate with Tool Room, Maintenance, Quality, and Stores to ensure uninterrupted production.
- Monitor raw material availability and ensure proper material handling.
- Supervise operators, setters, and technicians, assigning work and monitoring performance.
- Ensure compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs), safety regulations, and 5S practices.
- Maintain production records, shift reports, machine logs, rejection reports, and downtime reports.
- Analyze production losses and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Train and mentor operators on process discipline, safety, and quality requirements.




- Drive continuous improvement activities to improve productivity, quality, and cost efficiency.
- Ensure proper housekeeping and disciplined shift handover.

Required Qualifications :

- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Production, Plastics, or Polymer Engineering.
- 5–8 years of experience in plastic injection moulding, including supervisory experience.
- Strong knowledge of injection moulding machines, moulds, process parameters, and production planning.

Required Skills :

- Injection moulding process optimization.
- Leadership and team management.
- Production planning and execution.
- Troubleshooting of moulding defects and machine issues.
- Knowledge of OEE, Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, and Root Cause Analysis.
- Quality systems and documentation.
- Good communication and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet production targets.
