Position: QC Engineer (Factory Quality Inspection)

Educational Qualification: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.

Certifications: Certifications in Quality Management, ISO 9001, Internal Auditor, or Six Sigma will be an added advantage.

Location: Waghodia GIDC, Vadodara, Gujarat

Experience: 2–5 Years

Salary: ₹25,000 – ₹30,000 per month
Shift: 12 hr

Department: Quality Control

Job Purpose

To ensure the quality of incoming materials, in-process manufacturing, and finished products through systematic inspections, testing, and adherence to quality standards. The role is responsible for maintaining quality documentation, reducing defects, and ensuring compliance with customer and company requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare inspection plans based on drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Coordinate inspection schedules with Production and Stores.
- Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections of manufactured products.
- Verify dimensions, workmanship, and product quality using measuring instruments.
- Maintain inspection reports, NCRs, and quality records.
- Monitor product quality, identify defects, and ensure compliance with specifications.
- Review inspection reports and support root cause analysis for quality issues.




- Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to reduce defects.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with quality management systems.

- GD&T; (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing)
- Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Height Gauge, Dial Gauge, Feeler Gauge, and Measuring Instruments
- Incoming, In-Process & Final Inspection
- Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
- CAPA (Corrective & Preventive Action)
- Non-Conformance Report (NCR) Handling
- ISO 9001 Quality Management System
- Basic Knowledge of Welding, Fabrication, and Assembly Inspection
