Job Description – Project Auditor

Position: Project Auditor
Location: Kochi (Head Office)
Department: Projects Control Cell

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented Project Auditor to independently monitor project execution, ensure compliance with company policies and SOPs, identify process deviations, and support continuous process improvement across interior projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct audits of ongoing and completed interior projects.
- Verify compliance with company SOPs, quality standards, and project processes.
- Review project documentation, BOQs, work orders, billing, and approvals.
- Identify process gaps, non-compliance, and operational risks.
- Prepare audit reports with findings, observations, and corrective action recommendations.
- Coordinate with Project Managers, Design, Procurement, Finance, and Operations teams to resolve audit observations.
- Track closure of audit findings and ensure timely implementation of corrective actions.
- Monitor project timelines, quality, cost control, and documentation.
- Maintain audit records, MIS reports, and compliance dashboards.
- Recommend process improvements to enhance project efficiency and compliance.

Requirements

- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering,



Architecture, Interior Design, Commerce, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in project auditing, quality auditing, internal auditing, or project coordination.
- Experience in the interior, construction, or manufacturing industry is preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent report writing and documentation skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Willingness to travel for project audits when required.

- Knowledge of project management processes and quality standards.
- Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality.
- Experience with ERP systems is an added advantage.
