We are looking for a technically strong qualified with hands-on knowledge of high speed dispersers, agitators, pumps, mechanical seals, gearboxes, bearings, homogenizers and other process equipment used in chemical and related industries.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Equipment Design & Engineering

- Design and development of rotating and static process equipment
- Design of:
- Agitators, high-speed mixers, homogenizers
- Pumps, impellers, mechanical seals
- Gearboxes, belt drives, chain drives, pulleys
- Shafts, keyways, torque transmission systems
- Bearing selection and vibration analysis
- Knowledge of different steels, casting, and machining processes

2. Static Equipment & Piping Design

- Design and material selection as per:
- ASME Section II
- ASTM
- ASME B16.5, B16.9, B16.11, B16.47
- ASME B16.20, B16.21
- ASME 36.10 and other relevant standards
- Perform calculations for:
- Allowable stress values
- Design pressure based on process medium
- Shell thickness (internal/external pressure)
- Dished end thickness
- Stiffening rings for cylindrical shells
- Unstayed flat heads and covers

3. Process & Basic Engineering

- Understanding client requirements and preparing technical offers
- Development of:
- PFD (Process Flow Diagram)
- P&ID; (Piping & Instrumentation Diagram)




- Basic engineering calculations:
- Line sizing
- Pressure drop
- Pump hydraulics
- Basic chemical calculations
- Instrument selection and sizing:
- Control valves
- Safety relief valves
- Orifice plates
- Preparation of control philosophy documents

4. Documentation & Proposal Engineering

- Preparation of technical data sheets for equipment and instruments
- Development of techno-commercial proposals aligned with company capabilities
- Coordination with internal teams and clients
- Support during commissioning activities

5. Systems & Controls

- Basic understanding of PLC-based systems and control panels

Required Skills & Experience

- Strong knowledge of rotating equipment (bearings, gearboxes, mechanical seals, agitators, pumps)
- Experience in shaft design, torque transmission, and impeller design
- Familiarity with vibration analysis and mechanical integrity
- Understanding of fabrication, casting, and machining processes
- Experience in static equipment design and pressure calculations
- Knowledge of ASME standards for piping and equipment
- Pump design experience is highly preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹75,000.00 per month
