We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Site Engineer to oversee daily construction activities, ensure quality execution, monitor project progress, and coordinate with contractors, consultants, and internal teams. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in residential and commercial construction projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily construction activities at the project site.
- Ensure work is executed according to approved drawings and specifications.
- Monitor project progress and maintain work schedules.
- Coordinate with architects, structural consultants, contractors, and vendors.
- Inspect materials and workmanship to ensure quality standards.
- Maintain site records, daily progress reports, and material consumption reports.
- Verify measurements and assist in billing and quantity calculations.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Resolve on-site technical issues and provide practical solutions.
- Monitor manpower productivity and ensure timely completion of work.
- Conduct quality inspections and prepare snag lists before handover.
- Attend site meetings and provide project updates to management.
- Coordinate with procurement for timely material availability.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of RCC, finishing, and construction methodologies.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Office.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and coordination abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple activities under deadlines.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in residential villa or apartment projects.
- Knowledge of project planning and scheduling.
- Familiarity with construction quality standards and safety procedures.
