Job Description

1. Design, calculations, simulation, and testing of power supplies AC to DC, DC to DC, and DC to AC (Flyback, SEPIC, Forward, PFC, LLC, PSFB, etc.)
2. Practical design expertise in magnetics design for all converter topologies
3. Protection and current sensing circuits for power supply designs
4. Loss calculations for semiconductors, magnetics, and components in power supply design
5. Analog circuit designs, calculations, simulations, and practical testing
6. Designing circuits using PMICs and knowledge on Microcontrollers and Microprocessors
7. Requirement analysis / study
8. Unit test specification preparation, review, test setup and unit testing
9. High Voltage testing of power electronics hardware
10. Documentation and test report
11. Creation of test jigs
12. HW commissioning
13. Schematic entry, PCB layout design & Creation of component footprint
14. HW BOM preparation
15. Robust problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
16. Strong communication and documentation skills
17. Bilingual (English and Japanese)
