The Data Analyst bridges raw enterprise data and strategic decision-making by turning complex datasets into reliable, actionable insights. Working closely with product, operations, and technical teams, you will engineer clean data pipelines, run advanced SQL queries, build automated reporting dashboards, and conduct statistical analysis to solve core business problems and optimize operational efficiency.
Core Responsibilities1. Advanced Data Extraction & Querying
- Write, optimize, and execute complex SQL scripts to extract, aggregate, and manipulate large volumes of structured and semi-structured data across cloud data warehouses.
- Build automated extraction routines and clean disparate data inputs to ensure cross-system reconciliation and high data accuracy.
2. Dashboard Engineering & Business Intelligence
- Design, construct, and maintain interactive visual dashboards in enterprise BI platforms (Power BI, Tableau, or Looker).
- Establish self-service reporting frameworks and automated KPI monitoring pipelines for executive leadership and operational managers.
3. Statistical Analysis & Stakeholder Delivery
- Perform ad-hoc exploratory data analysis (EDA) to uncover operational bottlenecks, business growth drivers, and anomalous metrics.
- Translate quantitative findings, statistical correlations,
and data modeling results into clear narrative presentations for cross-functional partners.
Technical Profile & Experience
- Professional Experience: Minimum 2–4 years of experience as a Data Analyst, BI Analyst, or Quantitative Analyst in a fast-paced environment.
- Database & SQL Skills: Advanced hands-on SQL proficiency (CTEs, window functions, multi-table joins, subqueries, query optimization).
- Data Visualization & BI: Direct experience architecting reports and interactive dashboards using Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
- Scripting & Analytics: Solid working knowledge of Python (Pandas, NumPy) or R for statistical manipulation and workflow automation.
- Data Modeling Concepts: Understanding of relational database design, star/snowflake schemas, and enterprise data warehousing (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift).
Preferred Technical Competencies
- Direct experience writing models or transforming data with dbt (data build tool) or managing pipelines with Apache Airflow.
- Foundational knowledge of inferential statistics, hypothesis testing, and regression analysis.
- Version control proficiency using Git for script management and cooperative query development.
