Job Title: Production Design Engineer

Salary: ₹35,000 – ₹55,000 per month (Based on Experience)

Job Summary

The Monarch Enterprises is seeking a Production Design Engineer to bridge the gap between the Design and Production teams. The ideal candidate will be responsible for converting design concepts into production-ready drawings, preparing manufacturing documentation, and ensuring smooth execution of retail interior fixtures, furniture, and fabrication projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare production-ready drawings from approved design concepts.
- Develop detailed manufacturing drawings, assembly drawings, fabrication drawings, and shop drawings.
- Create and maintain BOQ, BOM, cutting lists, and material specifications.
- Design components and assemblies using SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
- Coordinate with Design, Production, CNC, Fabrication, and Installation teams to ensure smooth project execution.
- Optimize designs for manufacturing, cost efficiency, and quality.
- Resolve production-related design issues and provide technical support on the shop floor.
- Ensure drawings comply with manufacturing standards and project specifications.
- Maintain drawing revisions, engineering documentation,



and production records.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency and reduce material wastage.

Required Skills

- Proficiency in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and MS Office.
- Strong knowledge of sheet metal, fabrication, furniture manufacturing, and retail fixture production.
- Experience in preparing BOQ, BOM, cutting plans, and shop drawings.
- Understanding of CNC laser cutting, bending, welding, and assembly processes.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural, engineering, and fabrication drawings.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and coordination skills.

Qualification

- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or Production Engineering.
- 2–5 years of experience in production design, manufacturing engineering, or retail interior/furniture manufacturing.
