Job Description:

As a Patient Care Counsellor, you will serve as a critical bridge between

consultants, patients, and support teams — not just managing coordination, but also offering reassurance, clarity, and guidance at every stage of the patient journey. This role demands empathy, attentiveness, strong communication skills, and a deep commitment to delivering a smooth and comforting healthcare experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Post-Consultation Counselling

- Accurately read and interpret doctor prescriptions and clinical notes
- Explain prescribed procedures, diagnostics, and medication instructions to patients and attenders with clarity and empathy.
- Facilitate scheduling and booking of all the diagnostics, procedures and IP admission.
- Support consultants by documenting follow-up plans, procedures, and next visit instructions.

Coordination and Communication

- Address patient queries compassionately or redirect them to the appropriate consultant/department.




- Ensure patients are aware of the next steps and follow-up timelines and take complete ownership on the Followup.

Operational Excellence

- Coordinate with other related departments to smooth the patient journey.
- Close coordination with all stakeholders involved to ensure zero wait time goal.

● Qualified, discreet, and committed to confidentiality

● Strong sense of ownership over tasks given

● Fluent in English and local languages (e.g., Hindi, Tamil, Kannada etc.)

● Comfortable using digital tools

Preferred Qualifications:

● Graduate from any discipline

Work Expectations

- 9 to 11 hour work shifts- desk job
- Variable shift timings - to be decided as per department allocation
- 6-day work week
- Probation: 1 month (mandatory)

Pay: ₹11,148.86 - ₹35,583.76 per month
