Job Description:

Job Title: Senior Accountant

Location: Jinja - Uganda, Africa

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping activities
- Handle accounts payable, receivable, bank reconciliations, and cash management
- Prepare financial statements, MIS reports, and cost reports
- Maintain inventory, product costing and production-related accounting records
- Ensure compliance with taxation, audits, and statutory requirements
- Coordinate with production, purchase, and warehouse departments

Required Profile:

- B. Com / M. Com / Finance Graduate
- 5+ years of accounting experience in a Manufacturing Industry
- Proficiency in Tally and MS Excel
- Strong knowledge of inventory accounting, costing, taxation, and financial reporting.
- Person with East Africa Knowledge (prefered Uganda experience).

Normal terms:

- Local food allowance will be 400,000Ugx per month - paid monthly.
- Shared accommodation will be provided by the company.




- Return ticket to India (Delhi or Mumbai) with 1month paid leave after completion of 2 years.
- Alcohol prohibited in company premises.
- Medical expenses will be paid by the company related to accidents or weather
- related diseases.
- He will be working with local staff.
- Ready to work the Night shift.
- The working shift will be of 12 hours but should be adaptable to work extra hours depending on job requirement.
- Food served in the company canteen / premises will be vegetarian only.
- Should do any other work allocated by the company.

Pay: ₹100,000.00 - ₹120,000.00 per year
