Job Opening: Electrical Design Engineer

Position: Electrical Design Engineer
Experience: 3–4 Years

Job Responsibilities

- Prepare electrical design drawings, layouts, single-line diagrams (SLDs), load calculations, and cable schedules.
- Design HT/LT power distribution systems, lighting, earthing, lightning protection, and power layouts.
- Prepare BOQs, technical specifications, and tender documents for electrical works.
- Review and coordinate shop drawings, material submittals, and technical proposals.
- Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, MEP consultants, contractors, and clients to ensure seamless project execution.
- Ensure designs comply with the National Building Code (NBC), Indian Standards (IS), and relevant statutory requirements.
- Provide technical support during construction, testing, commissioning, and project handover.
- Attend design coordination meetings and resolve site-related technical issues.

Requirements

- B.E./B.Tech in Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE) or Electrical Engineering.




- 3–4 years of experience in electrical design for commercial, residential, institutional, or industrial building projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD. Knowledge of electrical design software such as ETAP, Dialux, or Revit MEP will be an added advantage.
- Strong understanding of electrical design standards, load calculations, and power distribution systems.
- Positive communication, coordination, and analytical skills.

Preferred Skills

- Experience in an Architect/PMC/MEP consultancy or EPC organization.
- Knowledge of HT/LT systems, DG sets, transformers, UPS, lighting, and fire alarm systems.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and meet project deadlines.
- Immediate joiners will be preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
