1. Procurement Planning

- Prepare project-wise procurement schedules.
- Understand BOQs, technical specifications, and project requirements.
- Ensure timely procurement aligned with project milestones.

2. Vendor Management

- Develop and maintain a strong vendor database.
- Identify new suppliers for cost optimization.
- Evaluate vendor capability, quality, delivery, and commercial terms.
- Conduct periodic vendor performance reviews.

3. Purchase Operations

- Float enquiries/RFQs to vendors.
- Compare techno-commercial offers.
- Prepare Comparative Statements (CS).
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, warranties, and penalties.
- Issue Purchase Orders (POs).

4. Procurement of Electrical Equipment

Experience in purchasing:

5. Project Coordination

- Coordinate with Engineering, Projects, QA/QC, and Stores.
- Ensure materials reach site as per construction schedule.
- Resolve supply bottlenecks.
- Track manufacturing and dispatch status.





6. Commercial Negotiation

- Achieve annual procurement cost savings.
- Negotiate better commercial terms.
- Finalize rate contracts.
- Ensure compliance with approved budgets.

7. Logistics Coordination

- Coordinate dispatches from suppliers.
- Monitor transportation.
- Ensure on-time deliveries.
- Resolve logistics issues.

8. Inventory Control

- Monitor inventory levels.
- Avoid excess procurement.
- Reduce non-moving inventory.
- Optimize stock availability.

9. Documentation

Maintain documentation for:

- Purchase Orders
- Comparative Statements
- Vendor Quotations
- Work Orders
- Delivery Schedules
- Inspection Reports
- Material Receipt Records
- Payment Approvals

10. Compliance

- Ensure GST compliance in procurement.
- Ensure statutory documentation from vendors.
- Follow company procurement policies.
- Maintain audit-ready procurement records.
