Job Description: The Medical Counselor is responsible for providing pre-donation and post-donation counseling to blood donors, motivating voluntary blood donation, ensuring donor suitability through counseling and screening, maintaining donor confidentiality, and assisting in donor retention programs. The role also includes counseling donors with reactive/ transfusion - transmitted infection (TTI) test results and promoting secure blood donation practices in compliance with National Blood Transfusion Council (NBTC), NACO, and Drugs & Cosmetics Act guidelines.
