We are a fast-growing fintech group operating digital platforms in the insurance advisory and mutual fund investment space, regulated under IRDAI and SEBI/AMFI licenses. We are looking for a sharp, diligent accounts professional who takes full ownership of financial accuracy and compliance.

What You Will Do

Accounts finalisation

- Review and verify Tally entries made by the accounts team
- Prepare trial balance, P&L;, and balance sheet — accurate and on time every month
- Finalise accounts at month-end, quarter-end, and year-end
- Identify and correct discrepancies before they become audit issues

Revenue reconciliation

- Calculate and cross-check revenue from mutual fund trail commissions, insurance renewals, and new business
- Reconcile commission statements received from MF houses and insurance companies against internal records
- Flag and resolve revenue mismatches proactively

Statutory compliance

- Ensure timely filing of GST, TDS, and other statutory obligations
- Maintain compliance tracker — no missed deadlines
- Co-ordinate with CA / tax consultant for advance tax and annual filings
- Maintain RoC compliance records and filing schedules

Audit co-ordination

- Prepare audit schedules,



supporting documents, and reconciliations for statutory audit
- Act as the primary point of contact for auditors — resolve queries promptly
- Implement audit observations and ensure closure within agreed timelines

External co-ordination

- Liaise with mutual fund houses (AMCs) for commission statements, payment reconciliation, and query resolution
- Co-ordinate with insurance companies for premium reconciliation, brokerage payouts, and compliance documentation
- Co-ordinate with regulatory agencies — IRDAI, SEBI/AMFI, GST department — as required

Reporting

- Prepare monthly MIS for senior management — P&L;, revenue, outstanding, compliance status
- Maintain weekly debtors report and flag overdue receivables
- Prepare agent and advisor commission payment summaries

What You Must Have

- 6+ years of experience in accounts and finance — preferably in fintech, NBFC, insurance, or mutual fund industry
- Hands-on proficiency in Tally ERP / Tally Prime — daily working knowledge, not just awareness
- Advanced Excel — VLOOKUP, pivot tables, INDEX-MATCH, dynamic formulas, MIS dashboards
- Working knowledge of GST, TDS, and statutory compliance
- Experience co-ordinating statutory audits end to end
- Graduation in B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter or equivalent
- Strong written and verbal communication — you will deal with auditors, regulators, and financial institutions

What Will Set You Apart

- Prior experience in insurance broking, mutual fund distribution, or SEBI/IRDAI regulated entity
- Familiarity with commission structures — trail income, renewal brokerage, first-year premium
- Experience working with accounting/ERP platforms
- Willingness to learn Excel Copilot, AI-assisted reporting tools, and new fintech platforms

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹700,000.00 per year
