We are looking for a talented Senior Accountant to manage all financial transactions at our project location. The Senior Accountant will report directly to directors and be responsible for auditing financial documents and procedures, oversee various accounting activities, reconciling bank statements and calculating tax payments and returns, preparing various financial reports and analysis. To be successful in this role, candidates should have robust previous experience with financial actions and a flair for spotting numerical mistakes. Location : Pune Responsibilities: 1. Plan and forecast funds requirements on a monthly basis to support project needs 2. Maintain and manage the cash, bank, and ledger books of the company 3. Oversee all purchases, reconcile them with GST records, and verify creditors' details 4. Prepare weekly statements of debtors and creditors, receipts, and payments 5. Supervise petty cash book transactions and maintain accurate records 6. Ensure timely and accurate booking of material receipts and services rendered 7. Generate and handle online tax challans and make respective payments 8.



Coordinate trade payables operations, ensuring compliance with applicable taxes and group policies 9. Manage assets and carry out budgeting and cost management activities 10. Reconcile fixed assets and oversee the capitalization and disposal process 11. Prepare submissions for various statutory authorities in coordination with external auditors, consultants, and government officials 12. Handle proforma invoices, e-invoices, e-waybills, and delivery challans 13. Timely reconcile debtors' accounts, verifying receipts and deducted TDS, and generating aging reports 14. Record day-to-day JV accounting entries in Tally Prime 15. Initiate and manage bank transactions and perform bank reconciliations 16. Prepare and file monthly GST and TDS returns 17. Provide guidance and support to team members, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented work environment 18. Analyze financial information and prepare financial statements and reports 19. Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures. 20. Prepare balance sheets and other statutory financial reports. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Essentials : 1. Candidate should be MCom / MBA with Commerce/Finance background 2. Should have 5-8 years of experience in in same field 3. Should be well aware with all accounting concepts 4. Can able to work in adverse conditions as well 5. Good written and verbal communication in English. If French, will be added advantage 6.
