We are seeking individuals who can evaluate and resolve issues to deliver effective solutions for both internal and external clients within predefined parameters.

Fixed-term Contract (1 year)
The role
- Perform assessments and deliver services, research, and development work within agreed parameters, including budget constraints and contractual requirements.
- Produce SIAS/CAP reports in the agreed format and within the agreed timescales.
- Produce CAP FDA reports based on analyses provided by the Naval Architect.
- Produce thickness measurement CAP analysis reports.
- Summarize lube oil analysis reports.
- Provide administrative support to SIAS as required.
- Deliver work within agreed parameters, ensuring compliance with defined quality, budget, format, and timeline requirements.
- Discuss and present deliverables to internal clients and recommend appropriate solutions where applicable.
- Conduct activities in accordance with internal procedures, accreditation schemes, applicable legislation, and industry standards.
- Pursue continuous professional development and maintain a high level of discipline, knowledge, and qualified awareness.
- Provide guidance to colleagues, where appropriate, and support effective knowledge transfer and application.
- Undertake routine administrative tasks in line with current processes and procedures.
- Work effectively both on your own and as part of a team.
What you bring
- Degree or equivalent qualification from a tertiary institution recognized by Lloyd’s Register in a relevant field of engineering or physical science (minimum two-year programme), or qualifications from a marine or nautical institution with relevant seagoing experience as a certificated ship's officer.
- Work in accordance with professional codes of conduct and the Lloyd’s Register Code of Ethics (IMS01).
- Demonstrate good computer literacy and the ability to learn and apply new software and applications.
- Apply a combination of general and specialist engineering knowledge to utilize existing and emerging technologies.
- Provide technical and commercial support, including project and process management, as required.
- Demonstrate proficiency in the English language commensurate with the requirements of the role.
