Experience

- 6 months to 2 years in educational counselling, admissions, or EdTech sales

Salary

₹18,000 – ₹20,000 per month + Performance Incentives (No Capping)

Job Summary

The Academic Counsellor guides students and parents in selecting the right academic program, explains the benefits of the institution, addresses concerns, and converts counselling sessions into admissions.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct one-on-one counselling sessions
- Understand students' career goals
- Explain NEET/JEE curriculum and learning methodology
- Handle fee-related and competitor objections
- Conduct campus tours




- Maintain follow-up with prospective parents
- Coordinate with tele callers and management
- Meet monthly admission targets

Daily KPIs

- 8–10 counselling sessions
- 15 follow-up calls
- 5 applications
- 3 admissions

Skills Required

- Valuable communication in Tamil and English
- Strong counselling and interpersonal skills
- Confidence in handling parent objections
- Good presentation and negotiation skills
- Basic computer and CRM knowledge

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹23,000.00 per month

- English and Tamil Fluently (Required)
