We are looking for a detail-oriented Formulation Specialist to develop and optimize toothpaste formulations, ensuring high efficacy, stability, and compliance with industry standards. This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams, raw material suppliers, and quality control teams to drive product innovation and excellence.

Responsibilities

1. Formulation & Development

- Develop new toothpaste formulations, including whitening, sensitive, and restoration variants.
- Optimize existing formulations for improved efficacy, stability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Conduct ingredient compatibility studies and ensure formulation stability over shelf life.
- Evaluate and select raw materials based on performance, safety, and cost criteria.

2. Testing & Quality Assurance

- Conduct lab-scale and pilot-scale trials to validate formulations.
- Perform stability testing under different environmental conditions.
- Work closely with the quality control team to ensure consistency in production.
- Develop testing protocols to assess product efficacy (e.g.,



abrasivity, foaming, antimicrobial properties).

Qualifications & Skills:

- Master’s or Ph.D. in Chemistry, Cosmetic Science, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field.
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in new product development
- Expertise in surfactants, flavors, humectants, abrasives, and active ingredients used in toothpaste.
- Knowledge of microbiological and clinical testing of oral care products.
- Familiarity with emulsification, rheology, and stability testing techniques.
