Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Production Supervisor to oversee daily manufacturing operations in a furniture production unit. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in furniture manufacturing, production planning, quality control, workforce supervision, and ensuring timely delivery while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise day-to-day production activities to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of orders.
- Plan and allocate manpower, machines, and materials efficiently to achieve production targets.
- Monitor production schedules and coordinate with the planning, procurement, and dispatch teams.
- Ensure products are manufactured according to approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Conduct regular quality inspections during different stages of production and take corrective actions when required.
- Monitor machine utilization and coordinate preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.
- Track daily production output and prepare production reports for management.




- Identify production bottlenecks and implement process improvements to increase productivity and reduce wastage.
- Ensure raw materials and finished goods are handled properly to minimize damage and material loss.
- Train, guide, and monitor production workers to maintain discipline and improve performance.
- Ensure compliance with workplace safety, housekeeping (5S), and company policies.
- Coordinate with the design, purchase, stores, and installation teams for seamless production execution.

Required Skills

- Experience in furniture manufacturing or modular furniture production.
- Strong knowledge of woodworking processes, machinery, and production techniques.
- Understanding of production planning, inventory management, and quality control.
- Ability to read technical drawings and production specifications.
- Valuable leadership, team management, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and coordination abilities.
- Knowledge of MS Excel and production reporting.

Qualifications

- Diploma or Any Degree
- 3–4 years of experience as a Production Supervisor or in a similar role within the furniture manufacturing industry.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
