Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and experienced Software Engineer – PIC & SCADA to develop, maintain, and support automation software for Drum Mix Plants and other construction equipment. The candidate will be responsible for PIC microcontroller programming, SCADA application development, HMI integration, system commissioning, troubleshooting, and technical support for automation systems.

Educational Qualification

- B.E. / B.Tech in Electronics & Communication (EC), Instrumentation & Control (IC), Electronics, or equivalent.

Experience

- Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in industrial automation, SCADA development, embedded systems, or construction equipment automation.

Required Skills

- Robust knowledge of PIC Microcontroller programming.
- Experience in SCADA software development and customization.
- Knowledge of industrial communication protocols such as Modbus RTU, Modbus TCP/IP, RS-232, RS-485, and Ethernet communication.
- Experience in HMI development and industrial automation systems.
- Understanding of industrial electrical control panels and field instrumentation.
- Knowledge of sensors, transmitters, load cells, weighing systems, VFDs, and motor control.
- Ability to troubleshoot embedded hardware and software issues.
- Familiarity with PLC logic and industrial control systems will be an added advantage.
- Basic understanding of SQL/database connectivity and report generation.
- Good analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to travel for commissioning and customer support.

Roles & Responsibilities

- Develop, modify, and maintain firmware for PIC-based automation controllers.




- Design and develop SCADA applications for Drum Mix Plants and other construction equipment.
- Configure and customize HMI/SCADA screens, alarms, trends, recipes, and reports.
- Integrate SCADA systems with PLCs, PIC controllers, VFDs, weighing systems, and field devices.
- Develop communication interfaces using Modbus RTU, Modbus TCP/IP, RS-232, and RS-485 protocols.
- Perform software testing, validation, and debugging before product release.
- Participate in Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT).
- Commission automation systems at customer sites and ensure successful project execution.
- Diagnose and resolve software, communication, and control system issues.
- Coordinate with electrical design, production, and service teams during project execution.
- Provide technical support to service engineers and customers for software-related issues.
- Prepare software documentation, operating manuals, backup files, and version control records.
- Implement software improvements based on customer feedback and field performance.
- Ensure timely completion of assigned development projects while maintaining quality standards.
- Follow company coding standards and maintain proper software documentation.
- Support R&D; activities for new automation products and system enhancements.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
