Description

We are seeking a skilled Development Support Engineer to join our ION API team. You will be the technical backbone supporting our internal and external customers, resolving complex issues and ensuring seamless API integration experiences.

A Typical Day in the Life Includes:

- Provide technical support for ION API issues from internal teams and external customers
- Investigate, diagnose, and resolve customer-reported bugs and technical problems
- Analyze API logs and system behavior to identify root causes
- Document issues, solutions, and create knowledge base articles
- Collaborate with development teams to escalate and track complex issues
- Provide timely updates to customers regarding issue status and resolutions
- Participate in on-call support rotation as needed
- Monitor system performance and proactively identify potential issues
- Assist in testing recent API features and releases

Basic Qualifications:

- 1+ years of technical support or development experience
- Strong understanding of APIs and REST principles
- Basic knowledge in at least one programming language (Java, Python, C#, or similar)
- Experience troubleshooting and debugging technical issues
- Excellent communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences
- Available to work in US Timezone
- Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience with ION API or similar enterprise API platforms
- Knowledge of enterprise software
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Familiarity with ticketing systems
- Previous experience in a SaaS environment
