Role

As a Team Manager - Al Phase CH, you will be a part of the Machine Shop Department in Plant Operations. You will be responsible for on-time delivery of good quality products (with required model mix as per schedule) to the immediate customer i.e. Engine assembly and monitoring the production processes & taking corrective & preventive actions to control rejection, rework through improvement projects/suggestions, along with providing any managerial as well as technical support e.g. Tooling, CNC programming, Machines corrections for the smooth running of the line as well as for any Current Model development in the line.

A purpose driven role for you

Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

- Preparation of all the documents related to DWM & their analysis e.g. control charts, Process sheets, Inspection sheets, and machine check sheets.
- Daily Monitoring of Production Targets as per customer requirements & takt time.
- Arranging and tackling manpower according to working pattern.
- Maintaining the Documentation as per requirements of IMS.
- Daily rejection analysis and applying the counter measures to the problems by using SDCA & PDCA approach.
- Exposure of Production Measurable functions PQCDSM.
- Calculating line efficiency and OEE data.
- Implementation of TPM activity on shop floor.
- Ensure 5S & daily maintenance in the working area.
- Tool Life Monitoring & Tool Cost Analysis.
- Leading and motivating the team to give Suggestions and perform Kaizens.

A Day in the life

1. Calculating daily model-wise requirements considering PPC plan and CH finish inventory in the section & supermarket.
2. Breaking daily requirements into shift/line-wise targets and providing resources in all lines in your shift.
3. Auditing in-process, quality, safety, poke-yoke,



CLRI audits, hourly production sheet and filling gaps by guiding, directing & supporting the team.
4. AM activity to be done on a weekly basis as per plan & also during/after PM activity. Managing & motivating TPM circle members to achieve Zero ABCD for Circle machines.
5. Daily/Weekly communication with team members regarding their personal or professional issues. Daily reviewing their work performance & motivating them for the best work performance individually.
6. Daily Review.

Academic Qualification & Experience

- B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering with 3-6 Years of relevant work experience
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with 8-12 Years of relevant work experience

Technical Skills/Knowledge

- M/C operations, tooling knowledge, CNC programming
- FRD's M/c, Robotic Cell
- Machine Planning Sheet
- Other: Drawing reading, manufacturing knowledge, Industrial Safety Norms Knowledge, Advance Excel, Power Point, Word
