Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Quality Engineer with a robust background in the PEB (Pre-Engineered Building) / Structural Steel Fabrication industry. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in quality assurance, welding inspection, fabrication quality control, and customer inspections.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform in-process and final inspection of fabricated structural steel components.
- Inspect welding, fit-up, dimensional accuracy, and surface preparation.
- Review and maintain quality documents such as ITP, WPS, PQR, MTC, and inspection reports.
- Coordinate with production, project, and client inspection teams.
- Handle third-party inspections and customer audits.
- Monitor fabrication activities to ensure compliance with project specifications and quality standards.
- Prepare NCRs, CAPA reports, and quality records.
- Ensure compliance with ISO standards and project quality requirements.

Required Skills

- Minimum 3 years of experience in PEB / Structural Steel Fabrication.




- Strong knowledge of welding inspection and fabrication quality.
- Experience in structural steel inspection, fit-up inspection, and dimensional inspection.
- Knowledge of AWS D1.1, IS standards, WPS, PQR, and welder qualification.
- Experience in handling client and third-party inspections.
- Good knowledge of quality documentation and reporting.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office.

Mandatory Qualification

- Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
- ASNT NDT Level II Certification (UT/RT/MT/PT/VT) – Mandatory.

Preferred Experience

Candidates with experience in PEB manufacturers or structural steel fabrication companies will be given preference.
