Job Description – TGT English (CBSE)

Location: Mahuva, Bhavnagar District, Gujarat

Key Responsibilities:

- Curriculum Delivery: Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging English lessons in alignment with the CBSE curriculum, focusing on reading, writing, grammar, literature, vocabulary, and communication skills.
- Classroom Management: Foster a positive, inclusive, and disciplined classroom environment that encourages active participation, creativity, and critical thinking.
- Student Assessment: Design and conduct formative and summative assessments, evaluate student performance, provide constructive feedback, and implement strategies to support academic growth.
- Interactive Learning: Incorporate innovative teaching methodologies, digital tools, group discussions, presentations, and project-based learning to enhance language proficiency and student engagement.
- Language Development: Encourage effective spoken and written English through debates, storytelling, creative writing, public speaking, dramatics, and literary activities.
- Parent Communication: Maintain regular communication with parents regarding students' academic progress, behaviour, and overall development.
- Extracurricular Involvement: Participate in school events, literary clubs,



competitions, assemblies, cultural programmes, and professional development initiatives.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to CBSE guidelines, school policies, assessment standards, and child safety protocols in all teaching activities.

Qualifications:

- Education: Bachelor's Degree in English or a related discipline with a B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) from a recognized institution.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of teaching experience, preferably in a CBSE school.
- Skills:
- Strong command of spoken and written English.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- Ability to inspire students through creative and interactive teaching methods.
- Proficiency in using technology-enabled teaching tools and digital learning platforms.
- Passion for developing students' language, literary appreciation, and communication skills.

Job Types: Full time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
