-Position Summary:
As an Electrician and Mechanic in our process industry, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal functioning of electrical and mechanical systems critical to our manufacturing processes. Your primary focus will be on maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair activities to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Electrical Maintenance:
- Perform preventive maintenance on electrical systems, including but not limited to motors, switchgear, control panels, and instrumentation.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues promptly to minimize production disruptions.
- Install and commission current electrical equipment as required.
- Collaborate with the maintenance team to identify opportunities for system improvements.
- Mechanical Maintenance:
- Conduct routine maintenance on mechanical equipment such as pumps, compressors, conveyors, and valves.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues to ensure continuous operation.
- Oversee the installation and alignment of new mechanical components.
- Implement predictive maintenance techniques to identify potential issues before they escalate.
- Safety and Compliance:
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while performing maintenance activities.
- Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
- Participate in safety training and contribute to the development of a safety-conscious culture.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with other maintenance team members and departments to achieve production goals.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to implement modifications and improvements.
- Provide technical support during the planning and execution of maintenance projects.
Qualifications: Experience in Industrial Mechanic / Electrician
