Job Description

We are seeking a Junior Design Engineer to support the design, development, and complete execution of Jigs, Fixtures, and Special Purpose Projects. The candidate will be involved in project handling from design to assembly, including coordination with machining, production, and assembly teams.

Freshers with a strong interest in mechanical design and manufacturing are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist in the design and development of jigs, fixtures, and mechanical assemblies.
- Participate in design reviews and implement necessary modifications.
- Handle projects from concept to final assembly and delivery.
- Coordinate material procurement and movement throughout the project lifecycle.
- Follow up with machining, fabrication, and assembly departments to ensure timely project completion.
- Provide guidance and support for machining operations based on design requirements.
- Assist in assembly, testing, and troubleshooting of completed projects.
- Maintain project documentation, drawings,



and progress reports.
- Support continuous improvement activities in design and manufacturing processes.
- Perform basic machine operations when required.

Requirements

- Diploma / ITI in Mechanical, Tool & Die, Production, or related field preferred.
- Freshers and candidates with up to 5 years of experience can apply.
- Basic knowledge of engineering drawings and manufacturing processes.
- Understanding of jigs, fixtures, machining, and assembly operations is an advantage.
- Knowledge of CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar is preferred.
- Good communication and project coordination skills.
- Willingness to learn and take ownership of projects.
