We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Staff Nurse – Operation Theatre (OT) to assist surgeons, anesthetists, and the surgical team in providing safe and productive patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures.

Roles & Responsibilities

- Prepare and maintain the Operation Theatre for scheduled surgeries.
- Ensure availability and sterility of surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies.
- Assist surgeons and anesthetists during operative procedures.
- Perform patient identification and pre-operative verification as per hospital protocols.
- Monitor patients before, during, and after surgery.
- Maintain aseptic and infection control practices in the OT.
- Handle, count, and document surgical instruments, sponges, and consumables.




- Assist in positioning patients safely for surgical procedures.
- Maintain accurate nursing records and OT documentation.
- Coordinate with surgeons, anesthetists, nursing staff, and other departments for smooth surgical operations.
- Ensure proper handling and disposal of biomedical waste as per hospital guidelines.
- Report equipment malfunctions and ensure timely maintenance.
- Participate in emergency and trauma procedures whenever required.
- Adhere to NABH standards, patient safety protocols, and hospital policies.
