Role Description The Coffee Roaster role is a full-time, on-site position based in Vijayawada. The Coffee Roaster is responsible for roasting coffee beans to specific profiles, monitoring roast quality, and ensuring consistency across batches. Daily tasks include operating roasting equipment, recording roast data, performing cuppings for quality evaluation, and maintaining a clean, safe roasting environment. The role also involves collaborating with the team to refine flavor profiles, supporting training on roast and brew standards,



and communicating effectively with colleagues about production schedules and inventory needs. This position is ideal for someone who cares deeply about specialty coffee and wants to help deliver an authentic Madras Filter Coffee experience.

Qualifications

- Robust skills in Coffee Roasting and Specialty Coffee, with an understanding of flavor profiles and roasting levels.
- Experience in Quality Control, including sensory evaluation, cupping, and consistency checks.
- Effective Communication skills for collaborating with team members and sharing roasting insights.
- Ability to provide Training on roasting procedures, safety, and brewing standards.
- Attention to detail, ability to follow and refine roast profiles, and maintain accurate production records.
- Comfort working in a production environment, including lifting coffee bags and standing for extended periods.
- Previous experience in coffee roasting or specialty coffee production is strongly preferred.
- Willingness to learn, adapt, and uphold the brand’s quality and cultural standards.
