Job Summary
We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Store Incharge to manage and oversee the inventory, materials, and equipment at our real estate project sites. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of storekeeping practices within the real estate or construction sector, be well-versed in inventory control systems, and capable of managing vendor coordination and stock audits efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the entire store operations at the construction/project site.
- Maintain inventory levels and ensure proper storage of materials.
- Receive, inspect, and document all incoming materials and supplies.
- Coordinate with procurement, project managers, and site engineers for timely availability of materials.
- Ensure proper documentation including GRNs, issue slips, stock registers, etc.
- Conduct regular stock audits and ensure zero discrepancies.
- Implement and maintain inventory management systems/software.
- Ensure FIFO (First In First Out) and proper material handling.
- Monitor material movement, consumption, and wastage control at site.
- Coordinate with vendors/suppliers for timely deliveries and returns.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in the storage area.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store and warehouse areas.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Graduate or Diploma in any discipline; a background in Supply Chain or Logistics is an added advantage.
- 3 to 6 years of relevant experience, preferably in the real estate/construction sector.
- Hands-on experience with inventory management software (e.g., Tally, ERP systems).
- Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
- Knowledge of construction materials and project site operations.
- Ability to work independently and manage store personnel (if any).
- Valuable communication and coordination skills.
- Integrity and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Work Environment
- Project site-based role in Hyderabad.
- Interaction with cross-functional teams including Project Management, Procurement, and Accounts.
