About the Role

The Branch Process Support role is responsible for managing and scaling retail banking operations at the branch level. This includes overseeing day-to-day administration, ensuring compliance, and optimizing operational efficiency through technology and process improvements. The role also acts as the central custodian for Rural Banking documentation and supports operational needs for rural and semi-urban retail products. The incumbent plays a key role in maintaining the customer lifecycle, fulfilling service requests, and delivering best-in-class customer service.

Key Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities

- Manage daily branch operations and administration, ensuring strict adherence to bank policies and procedures.
- Oversee operational integrity of credit and loan processing to support branch functionality.
- Act as a business partner in implementing critical operational and regulatory practices, including compliance, lending operations, and risk management.
- Drive quality initiatives across the operations team to improve turnaround time (TAT) and service level agreements (SLAs).




- Utilize automation and digital tools to enhance process efficiency and reduce manual interventions.

Secondary Responsibilities

- Lead technological and digital upgrades in coordination with the technology team.
- Stay updated on global market trends and competitor strategies to inform process improvements.
- Initiate cost-reduction strategies and drive profitability through operational excellence.

Education

- Graduate in any discipline (Full time)

Experience

- 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in branch banking operations or process management.

Skills and Attributes

- Solid understanding of banking operations and compliance frameworks.
- Proficiency in process optimization and digital tools.
- Excellent organizational and administrative skills.
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
- Fluent in English with excellent stakeholder management.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and drive operational efficiency.
