Role Description The Restaurant Supervisor (Barista) is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru. This role oversees daily operations of the restaurant and coffee bar area, ensuring smooth service, product quality, and adherence to Autogrill standards. Responsibilities include supervising front-of-house teams, managing shift schedules, coordinating with kitchen staff, and supporting inventory and stock control for food and beverage items. The supervisor prepares and serves coffee and other beverages, maintains hygiene and safety standards, and ensures the outlet is clean, organized, and ready for guests at all times.



The role also involves handling guest inquiries and escalations, training new team members, and supporting sales and promotional activities to drive customer satisfaction and revenue.
Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Supervisory Skills, including team coordination, shift management, and performance monitoring.
- Candidates should possess Customer Satisfaction and Customer Service skills, with the ability to handle guest concerns and deliver a welcoming experience.
- Candidates should possess clear and qualified Communication skills for interacting with guests, colleagues, and management.
- Candidates should possess Food & Beverage knowledge, including basic barista skills, product preparation, hygiene, and safety standards.
- Prior experience in a restaurant, café, or hospitality environment, especially in a supervisory or shift leader role, is preferred.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, and stand for extended periods in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic numeracy and POS (point-of-sale) system familiarity; experience with cash handling and stock control is an advantage.
- Relevant hospitality or food service certification/diploma is beneficial but not mandatory.
