Role Description The ANO (Associate NCC Officer) will support and coordinate National Cadet Corps (NCC) activities and student development initiatives on campus. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Jalandhar, requiring regular engagement with students, faculty, and NCC authorities. Day-to-day responsibilities include organizing drills, parades, and training sessions, supervising discipline and safety during NCC events, and maintaining records related to cadet participation and performance. The ANO will also plan and execute camps, workshops,



and outreach programs, promote physical fitness and leadership qualities among cadets, and ensure adherence to NCC guidelines and institutional policies. Collaboration with academic and administrative departments to integrate NCC activities with overall student development is an essential part of the role.
Qualifications

- Candidates should possess solid leadership, mentoring, and team-building skills to guide and motivate student cadets.
- Candidates should possess organizational and coordination skills, including event planning, time management, and record-keeping abilities.
- Candidates should possess effective communication and interpersonal skills to work with students, faculty, and external NCC authorities.
- Candidates should possess physical fitness and a disciplined work approach suitable for conducting drills, outdoor activities, and camps.
- Candidates should possess a good understanding of NCC structure, rules, and protocols; prior NCC experience or certification is highly beneficial.
- Candidates should possess at least a relevant bachelor's degree from a recognized institution; experience in academic or student affairs roles is an advantage.
- Candidates should possess a commitment to student development, integrity, and adherence to institutional and NCC regulations.
