Job Description: AWS Field CTORole Overview: We are seeking a highly strategic and experienced AWS Field CTO to lead our AWS practice and technology initiatives. In this role, you will serve as the primary technical evangelist, strategist, and solution architect for our AWS partnership. You will be responsible for driving offering and solution build, establishing thought leadership, accelerating internal engineering capabilities, and enabling presales, with a heavy emphasis on modern AWS data, analytics, and Generative AI technologies—specifically Amazon Bedrock, Amazon QuickSight, AWS Lake Formation, AWS Glue, and Amazon Redshift.Core ResponsibilitiesOffering & Solution BuildSolution Ideation & Design: Conceptualize, design, and build innovative, enterprise-ready solutions on the AWS cloud stack, leveraging AWS Lake Formation and Amazon Redshift for unified data lakes/warehouses, and Amazon QuickSight for business intelligence.Tools & Accelerator Build: Develop proprietary tools, frameworks, and accelerators using AWS Generative AI services (e.G., Amazon Bedrock, Amazon Q, SageMaker JumpStart) to accelerate time-to-value for clients.Product Management: Collaborate with internal Studio and Product engineering teams to build, manage, and evolve AWS-centric offerings and repeatable solution blueprints.GTM Content & Collateral: Create compelling, partner-centric Go-To-Market materials, including technical content decks, battle cards, and solution briefs highlighting the ROI of AWS data and AI solutions.Solution Endorsement: Engage directly with AWS Partner Solution Architects and Partner Development Managers (PDMs) to secure official solution endorsement and joint GTM support.Thought LeadershipPublic Speaking & Evangelism: Represent the company at major AWS events (e.G., AWS re-Invent, AWS Summits, Partner Forums), speaking on topics like cloud-native data architecture, modern analytics, and enterprise Gen AI adoption.Content Creation: Author and publish joint webinars,



tech blogs, and whitepapers with AWS, showcasing success stories and cutting-edge implementations of Amazon Bedrock and QuickSight.POV Creation: Develop authoritative, partner-centric Points of View (POVs) on industry trends, serverless architectures, and how AWS technologies solve complex enterprise challenges.Mindshare Expansion: Actively cultivate and expand AWS mindshare both internally among consulting teams and externally across the ecosystem.Capability AccelerationProduct Roadmap Influence: Engage with AWS service teams and product managers to provide field feedback and influence product roadmaps for Bedrock, QuickSight, and AWS data services based on client requirements.Knowledge Community & COE: Establish and lead a Center of Excellence (COE) and internal community of practice focused on AWS Cloud, Data, and AI technologies.Innovation & POCs: Spearhead Proofs of Technology (POTs) and Proofs of Concept (POCs) on emerging AWS services and features (e.G., Bedrock agentic workflows, QuickSight Q, serverless analytics).Talent & Certification: Drive AWS certification programs across the practice. Onboard, mentor, and elevate technical talent across cloud engineering and data architecture disciplines.Partner Differentiation: Lead technical audits and assessments required to achieve and maintain key AWS Competencies (e.G., Data & Analytics, Generative AI, Migration) to differentiate our practice.Presales & Tech EnablementSales Enablement: Train and empower account executives and sales teams on pitching AWS offerings,



positioning the strategic value of AWS Data and Gen AI services.AWS Professional Services Alignment: Establish joint engagement strategies and align closely with AWS Professional Services (ProServe) on strategic enterprise accounts.Presales Support: Provide high-impact presales architectural support on key pursuits, leading complex customer discovery sessions and technical proposals.Consumption & Cost Estimation: Architect cost-effective AWS solutions and prepare precise AWS Pricing Calculator estimates for large-scale data and AI workloads.Deal Expansion: Identify opportunities to expand client engagements by introducing new AWS services and modernization roadmaps.Delivery Oversight: Conduct delivery reviews and provide high-level technical governance for critical AWS client implementations.Qualifications15+ years of overall experience in IT architecture, software engineering, enterprise cloud architecture, or technical leadership roles.5+ years of dedicated, hands-on experience designing and building solutions specifically on Amazon Web Services (AWS).Proven experience operating as a Field CTO, Chief Architect, or Enterprise Solution Architect within the AWS ecosystem or a top-tier AWS Consulting Partner.Deep technical expertise in AWS Data & Analytics services (AWS Lake Formation, AWS Glue, Amazon Redshift, Amazon EMR, Amazon QuickSight).Hands-on experience and solid architectural knowledge of AWS Generative AI and ML services (Amazon Bedrock, Amazon SageMaker, Amazon Q, Vector Databases).Track record of public speaking, technical writing, and driving thought leadership in cloud technologies.Strong presales capability, with experience building AWS consumption models and driving deal closure.Relevant AWS Certifications (e.G., AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional, AWS Certified Data Engineer – Associate, or AWS Certified Machine Learning – Specialty) are highly preferred.
