Multi-Wing | Pune City, Maharashtra, India (On-site)Location: Hadapsar, Ramtekdi Industrial EstateOwn the imports that keep our production moving.We’re hiring a Executive – Import & Export to take full control of international shipments, customs, and material flow for our Pune manufacturing plant.Do you enjoy being the person who makes sure every imported component arrives on time, fully compliant, and at the right cost? Are you comfortable taking end-to-end ownership of import shipments, from PO release to final delivery at the warehouse, and making sure production never stops? Then this role is for you.We are looking for a Executive – Import & Export who will independently manage import operations and material planning and play a key role in securing a smooth and reliable material flow for our manufacturing plant.What you will doYou will be the central point for all import-related activities, responsible for the full import cycle from shipment planning to delivery at our plant/warehouse, including:Managing end-to-end import shipments and material planning for technical / mechanical components used in our manufacturing.Coordinating with overseas suppliers, freight forwarders, shipping lines, CHA, transporters, co-loaders, and internal teams, ensuring each shipment is handled efficiently and compliantly.Preparing, verifying, and maintaining all import documentation (PO, invoice, packing list, BL/AWB, insurance, COO, checklist, BOE, duty challan, DO, etc.).Ensuring accurate Bill of Entry filing, HS code classification, duty structure, valuation, exemptions, and overall customs compliance.Checking customs and shipping documents, freight invoices, customs duty, handling and demurrage charges, transporter bills before approval to avoid errors and unnecessary costs.Planning import material movement based on production requirements, in close collaboration with Purchase, Production,



Stores, and Finance to secure uninterrupted production.Monitoring shipment status, vessel/flight arrivals, free days, clearance timelines, DO release, transporter placement, and final delivery, with a strong focus on cost control and on-time delivery.Maintaining import trackers, material planning sheets, landed cost details, duty payment records, and documentation files for full transparency and audit readiness.Coordinating closely with Finance on customs duty, freight, CHA charges, vendor and other import-related payments.Following up on shortages, excess, damages, claims, insurance cases, and discrepancies with suppliers/forwarders and driving resolution.Supporting export documentation and coordination when needed (export experience is a solid plus but not mandatory).In short, you will be the person who ensures that all imported materials arrive correctly, on time, at the right cost, and in full compliance, so our production can deliver to customers without interruption.What you bringGraduate or post-graduate degree, preferably in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field.2–3 years of hands-on import experience in a manufacturing or industrial company, with exposure to technical / mechanical products.Solid, proven experience in import operations; export experience is anadvantage.You should also have:Strong knowledge of import documentation, customs clearance, Bill of Entry, HS code basics, duty structure, CHA coordination, freight forwarding,



shipment tracking.Proven experience preparing and checking customs and shipping documents and ensuring import compliance.Good understanding of Incoterms, import costing, freight rates, customs duty, GST/IGST on imports, and landed cost calculations.Ability to effectively coordinate with CHA, freight forwarders, shipping lines, transporters, overseas suppliers, and internal stakeholders and keep everyone aligned.Good working knowledge of MS Excel, including maintaining import trackers, shipment MIS, material planning sheets, and documentation records.Excellent communication skills, with strong follow-up, coordination, and negotiation abilities.A detail-oriented, organized, and proactive working style, with the ability to manage multiple shipments under time pressure and meet tight deadlines.Who we areAt Multi-Wing, our culture is dynamic and driven by continuous development, structure, and planning.
