In this position, the designer creates and modifies 3D models and assemblies in Onshape, ensuring accuracy, manufacturability, and adherence to project specifications and standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing detailed technical drawings, updating design documentation, collaborating with engineering and project teams, and resolving design issues through iterative refinement. The designer will participate in design reviews, maintain organized version control within Onshape,



and support cross-functional teams by providing clear, production-ready models and drawings. The role also involves coordinating with clients or internal stakeholders to interpret requirements and deliver high-quality design solutions within project timelines.Qualifications Proficiency in Onshape or similar cloud-based CAD tools, with strong skills in 3D modeling, assemblies, and technical drawings.Solid understanding of mechanical or product design principles, tolerances, materials, and manufacturability considerations.Ability to interpret engineering requirements, specifications, and sketches, and translate them into precise digital models.Experience collaborating with engineering, production, or BIM teams and working within structured workflows or design standards.Strong attention to detail, quality-focused mindset, and capability to manage multiple design tasks and deadlines.Effective communication skills and willingness to work on-site in Kochi as part of a cooperative, cross-functional team.Relevant diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design, CAD/BIM, or a related field; skilled certifications in CAD or Onshape are an advantage.Prior experience in manufacturing, product development, BIM, or similar design environments is beneficial.
