DevOps Engineer (AWS | Docker | Python) – 6 to 8Years

Role Overview

We are looking for a hands-on DevOps Engineer who can take ownership of cloud infrastructure, deployments, and production troubleshooting with minimal supervision. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working in a Dockerized microservices environment hosted on AWS and possess strong debugging skills to quickly identify and resolve deployment and service startup issues.

Must Haves

· 6-8 years of experience in DevOps and Cloud Operations

· Docker & Micro-services Troubleshooting

- Strong hands-on experience troubleshooting Dockerized microservices, including container startup failures, networking issues, service dependencies, configuration errors, and deployment-related incidents in production environments.
- Analyze logs, container health checks, workplace variables, and runtime configurations to identify root causes
- Python Scripting & Automation
- Working knowledge of Python fundamentals (data structures, loops, functions, exception handling) with the ability to debug, modify, and create automation scripts for deployment, monitoring, and operational tasks.

· End-to-End Ownership





- Demonstrated ability to independently own infrastructure and deployment activities, proactively troubleshoot issues, drive resolution with minimal supervision, and collaborate effectively with development teams.

· AWS Infrastructure Management

- Experience managing and supporting AWS-based applications using services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, ECR, IAM, and CloudWatch, with a solid understanding of cloud operations and troubleshooting.

Soft Skills

- Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams

Good to Have

- AWS Solutions Architect (Associate or Professional) certification
- Exposure to healthcare, SaaS, or data-processing platforms
- Familiarity with CloudFormation or Terraform for infrastructure management
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or similar.
- Understanding of scalable system design, application architecture, load balancing, auto-scaling, and performance optimisation in cloud environments.
