Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in South Delhi for a System Architect (C++ / Qt). The System Architect will design and develop robust system architectures, spearhead the creation of advanced software solutions, and oversee all aspects of software development and systems integration. Responsibilities include engaging in systems engineering processes, creating efficient system designs, and ensuring seamless integration of components. We are looking for an experienced System Architect to lead end-to-end software development and system integration. In this role, you will be responsible for defining architecture, managing development activities, and ensuring high-quality delivery aligned with project timelines and standards.

Responsibilities:

- Own Project Execution: Lead overall project delivery, from requirement analysis to resource planning and transition management.

- Architecture Definition: Define and drive system and software architecture, including design patterns, technology choices, and layered rendering strategies.

- Technical Leadership: Provide mentorship to development teams, perform code reviews, and resolve complex architectural challenges.

- System Integration: Drive large-scale system integration and deployment activities for mission-critical environments.

- Quality & Standards: Ensure strict adherence to SDLC processes and maintain documentation (SRS, SDD, IRS) as per project standards.

- Stakeholder Management: Ensure smooth coordination across teams and stakeholders to manage dependencies and effort estimation.

Qualifications

- Architecture Expertise: Proven experience in System & Software Architecture for complex, large-scale desktop applications

- High Availability & HMI:



Strong experience in designing HMI (Human-Machine Interface) and High Availability Systems (Hot Standby/Redundancy).

- Modern C++ & Qt: Expert proficiency in C++11/14/17/20 and deep hands-on experience in Qt 5.x / 6.x.

- Graphics & Rendering: Strong experience with QGraphics View, OpenGL (VAOs, VBOS, GLSL), and GPU-accelerated rendering.

- Middleware & Comm: Hands-on experience with DDS middleware, UDP/TCP socket programming, and custom binary protocol parsing (ICD).

- Advanced UI: Expert knowledge of QML/C++ integration, Custom Qt Widgets, and Model-View-Delegate architecture.

- GIS & Telemetry: Experience with GIS data formats, live track plotting, and storing large volumes of time-stamped telemetry.

- Leadership Skills: Demonstrated leadership and stakeholder management skills in a lead/architect capacity.

Preferred:

- Knowledge of DO-178B/C standards and experience with DRDO/Defence projects.

- System Integration: Experience in large-scale system integration involving multi- source data fusion.

- Proficiency with CMake-based multi-module build systems, including scripted deployment and automated build pipelines

- Experience designing Plugin Host Applications using runtime energetic library loading (dlopen / QPluginLoader) with versioned plugin interfaces

- Demonstrated use of the Data Model / Store pattern to decouple protocol-specific parsers from UI/rendering layers in distributed systems

- Experience architecting multi-source data fusion systems where heterogeneous protocol parsers (different transports, different formats) populate a single shared central model keyed by entity identity

- Explicit hands-on experience with eProsima Fast DDS (add this alongside RTI Connext / OpenDDS in existing list)
