**Job Description Summary** As a Graduate Engineering Trainee (Electrical & Electronics), you will join the XGEN Engineering team supporting Recent Product Introduction (NPI) and Install Base (IB) Engineering for X-ray tube and X-ray generator products. In this role, you will work alongside experienced engineers to support engineering change management, product qualification, testing, validation, failure analysis, and sustaining engineering activities. You will gain hands-on experience with electrical systems, product architecture, laboratory testing, and engineering documentation while contributing to the reliability and continuous improvement of GE HealthCare medical imaging products. Unlock your ambition, turn ideas into world-changing realities, and join an organization where every voice makes a difference, and every difference builds a healthier world. **Job Description** **Roles and Responsibilities** + Support engineering activities for X-ray tube and X-ray generator products across New Product Introduction (NPI) and Install Base Engineering. + Develop an understanding of electrical and electronic engineering fundamentals, electrical system architecture, and product functionality. + Read, interpret, and prepare electrical schematics, circuit diagrams, and assembly drawings. + Support preparation of electrical circuits, component selection, printed circuit board (PCB) and assembly drawing creation. + Apply basic circuit analysis and simulation techniques to support engineering activities. + Assist in Engineering Change Requests (ECRs), Supply Change Requests (SCRs), and engineering change implementation through the Engineering Change Control Board (ECCB) process. + Support Engineering Bill of Materials (EBOM)
structuring, drawing updates, and design change activities. + Participate in qualification of new or alternate electrical and electronic components. + Support verification, validation, testing, and troubleshooting activities for electrical systems and components. + Assist in electrical test fixture development, part inspection, and product testing. + Support engineers in establishing laboratory test setups, conducting planned experiments, and documenting test results. + Participate in field data analysis, field failure investigations, and root cause analysis activities. + Prepare and maintain Design History File (DHF) documentation, engineering reports, and technical records. + Support documentation required for regulatory and quality compliance requirements. + Collaborate with Product Champions, Subject Matter Experts, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, and Field Service teams to support sustaining engineering initiatives. + Prepare technical documentation, reports, presentations, and engineering records using Microsoft Office applications. **Required Qualifications** + Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronics & Electrical Engineering. + Strong fundamentals in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. + Hands-on understanding of electrical circuits, schematic diagrams, and electronic components. + Basic understanding of component selection, PCB fundamentals, and assembly drawings. + Knowledge of circuit analysis and simulation techniques.
